Thunder Ridge
Ride the storm across 4,096 ways with lightning multipliers.

Theme and story
Thunder Ridge is set on a high mountain plateau as a summer storm rolls in. Wild horses run along the ridgeline, eagles circle in the wind and lightning cracks across the sky. When it strikes the reels, it leaves multipliers behind. This is our newest and most intense release, with dynamic lighting that darkens the scene as the storm builds.
How the base game plays
The game uses a 6x4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, so matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left pay in any row. The Wild Stallion, Golden Eagle and Storm Bison are the premium symbols; Mountain Lion, Thunder Drum, Horseshoe and royals pay less. Stallion wilds land on reels two to six. On any spin, a lightning strike can hit up to three random positions and turn them into 2x to 10x multipliers. Any win passing through those positions is multiplied, and multipliers on the same way are added together.
Storm Surge free spins
Four or more Thundercloud scatters award 12 free spins. During Storm Surge:
- A global multiplier starts at 1x and rises by 1x with every lightning strike
- The global multiplier never resets during the round
- Lightning strikes land more often than in the base game
- Three or more scatters add five spins
Combining a high global multiplier with stacked lightning positions is how the 15,000x maximum becomes possible, though it is extremely rare.
The maths, explained simply
Thunder Ridge has the highest theoretical RTP in our catalogue at 96.6% – what RTP actually means explains why that is a long-run average, not a session forecast. It is also our most volatile game: wins land only about once every 5.1 spins, and most of the return is concentrated in rare, very large outcomes. Demo sessions can swing hard, which is exactly why we recommend trying it in free-play first.
Designer notes
We built Thunder Ridge for partners whose audiences want a high-stakes feel without high stakes. The challenge was making a very high volatility slot online that still feels entertaining during long dry runs, so the storm visuals evolve constantly.
