Theme and story
Aurora Wilds is set on a frozen tundra on the clearest night of the year. Ribbons of green and violet light pour across the sky, and the animals of the north gather to watch. When the aurora touches the reels, it turns entire columns wild. We built the sky as a live animated layer, so no two spins look quite the same.
How the base game plays
The grid is 5x4 with 1,024 ways to win: matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, pay in any row. Snow Owl, Arctic Wolf and Polar Bear are the high pays, with Reindeer, Snowflake, Pine Tree and royals beneath. Aurora wilds land on reels two to five. Whenever a wild is part of a win, it expands to fill its whole reel and gains a random multiplier of 2x, 3x or 5x. Multiple multipliers on one win are multiplied together.
A random Snowfall event can also strike any base spin, upgrading every low symbol on the grid to one chosen premium symbol.
The free spins feature
Three Northern Star scatters award eight free spins, four award 12 and five award 20. During the round, every expanded aurora wild stays sticky on its reel until the feature ends, keeping its multiplier. That makes the back end of the bonus much stronger than the start.
